The Company

Fraport Brasil is currently being established and will be responsible for the expansion, maintenance and operation of the airports of Fortaleza – Pinto Martins and Porto Alegre – Salgado Filho over a period of 30 and 25 years respectively. The operational transfer of the airports to Fraport Brasil is expected to take place by the beginning of 2018.

In March 2017, four separate, almost identical concessions were granted by the Brazilian State in an international tender process, each applying to one of the airports of Fortaleza, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis and Salvador.

Fraport AG Frankfurt Airport Services Worldwide, the parent company of Fraport Brasil, has prevailed over strong international competition and has been awarded the concessions for Fortaleza and Porto Alegre Airports.
